Transportation Services are funded by the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB). To be eligible, individuals must qualify financially and have a vision acuity of 20/70 or greater or a degenerative eye disease.

This free door-to-door service provides rides to any type of medical appointment or essential service need, such as obtaining a photo ID. Individuals must live in Allegheny County and appointments must be made in advance.

Support Services

These services include grocery and personal needs shopping with the individual, assisting with reading and filling out forms, picking up prescriptions, minor household repairs, adjusting clocks and reading instructions.
