Race Results

One of our low vision clients, David “Bubba” Fullard, pictured above, was the first to ski — breaking the course — for the 29th annual Corporate Cup Ski Race and Sporting Clays event held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort Feb. 22.

The winning ski team included Zolin Cook, Eric Beringer and Ryan O’Mahony representing Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc. The fastest skier was Tim Chappell from Bayer MaterialScience with a time of 31.97. The winning sporting clays team included Jim Schmitt, Dan Petruzzi, Tim Cowan, Tony Bucciero and Randy Grossman representing Stantec, with Randy Grossman earning the highest score of 88 and a long run of 22.

Each ski team included three racers who skied independently for the fastest time in pursuit of the Corporate Cup Trophy, a traveling award that resides yearly with the winning company. Sporting clay teams competed for the Sporting Clays Trophy, also a traveling award. Diann Roffe, an Olympic gold medalist in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, and a world champion ski competitor, was the special guest. Title sponsors were Gordon Terminal Service, Mascaro Construction Company and Stantec.

The event raised more than $50,000.
