The celebration is set for Tuesday, May 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Heinz Field, East Club Lounge. Arthur J. Rooney II is president of the Pittsburgh Steelers. As part of his duties with the Steelers, Mr. Rooney was principally responsible for the design, development and financing plan for the Steelers’ stadium, Heinz Field. Mr. Rooney serves as chairman of the NFL Stadium Committee, and also sits on the NFL’s International Committee and on the NFL Labor Management Council. Mr. Rooney also holds an Of Counsel position with the law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney. Mr. Rooney is a 1978 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 1982. Mr. Rooney devotes a substantial amount of his time to community activities and is currently serving as chairman of the board of United Way of Allegheny County, and on the boards of the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum, the Pittsburgh Public Theater, and the Extra Mile Education Foundation.

Sy Holzer joined PNC Bank in 1971 and was named president the bank in May 1997. He is co-chair of the PNC Corporate Management Committee. Active in the community, Mr. Holzer is chairman of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute; serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Pittsburgh; and serves on the Boards of Directors of the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Bethany Board of Trustees, The Pittsburgh Opera, Fred Rogers Foundation, and the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation. In addition to Mr. Holzer’s many awards and recognitions, he was honored with the Art Rooney Humanitarian Award for public service. Mr. Holzer is a graduate of Duquesne University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in economics. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at RutgersUniversity and the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business – Management Program for Executives.
