Thank you to all who participated in our 37th annual Corporate Cup Ski Race and Sporting Clays event on Friday, February 18th at Seven Springs. The event was a great success raising nearly $70,000 for individuals who are blind of vision impaired. Each year, this event exceeds our expectations and one of the many reasons is because of our generous sponsors: UPMC, Covestro, BK Facility Consulting, Gordon Terminal Service, Peoples, CJL Engineering, Langan, Rycon Construction, Inc, WDG Engineering, WNA Engineering and Willi’s Ski and Snowboard Shop. Their unwavering support of the Corporate Cup competition impacts our clients’ lives in the most profound and significant ways.
Congratulations to our winners! (Photos Below)
At the Sporting Clays competition the first place team was from Covestro with a score of 328 and our top shooters were Doug Sherman at 86 hits and Julia Strumpler with 42.
On the ski slope the winning team was Gordon Terminal with a time of 76.40 seconds and our fastest skiers were Tim Chappell at 22.91 seconds and Jessie Morgan with a time of 30.53 seconds.
The biggest winners from our event are our clients who are able to achieve their personal and professional goals because of the on-going support from our attendees. Through their generosity we are able to offer individualized vital instruction that helps those we serve achieve their greatest potential. Our clients’ dreams of independence and financial security become reality when they are able to live their best life through employment that matches their knowledge and skills, are active and engaged members of their communities, and feel valued in their daily lives.
The participation of our guests truly makes a difference in the lives of individuals who are blind or vision impaired and we are so very grateful.
We hope to see you next year for our 38th Annual Corporate Cup Ski Race and Sporting Clays Event.
Thank you
